When Carrie and Scott Douglass embarked on their search for the perfect spot to create a coworking space, they knew they wanted a location with views. Situated along the Deschutes River Trail, The Haven offers expansive panoramas of the Deschutes River and Southwest Bend’s horizon.

Aesthetically, The Haven’s event space is warm and cozy and captures the essence of Central Oregon. Logistically, it offers everything you need for a great event. From the large parking lot to the variety of uses, there are more than a few options for your event.

Large parties can gather in The Haven’s flex space, complete with a kitchen area, taps, and catering prep space available for use. Smaller groups can take advantage of the first-floor gathering space, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over Bend’s vistas.

The Flexibility

You can choose the terms that work for you when you use The Haven’s event space on evenings and weekends. This means using your choice of caterers, florists, and other vendors. Additionally, the event spaces come staffed, so there’s no need to worry about setup or clean-up. Focus on your guests and the following celebrations—they’ll handle the rest.

Because we want you to have the best event possible, we don’t require you to use any specific vendors other than our in-house staff during the event. Our team is OLCC permitted, which allows them to pour beer, cider, and wine from the taps, should you choose to purchase your drinks as a part of your package.

However, you’re free to hire an OLCC-certified bartender to make the drinks of your choice. If you’d like a list of vendors we’ve worked with in the past and are familiar with our space, we’re happy to offer some recommendations.

The Haven was designed with more than coworking in mind. The Douglasses wanted to create a captivating space that embodied the natural beauty of Central Oregon. The Haven’s flex space offers a unique setting for anything from light appetizers and cocktails to sit-down coursed dinners. Also, guests can add decor, florals, and other non-altering decorations throughout the space. During the day, you can catch sun rays streaming in from the abundance of windows overlooking Riverbend and Farewell Bend parks. At night, get a glimpse of the sun setting over the treeline and the Deschutes River’s reflection of the moon.

The Deck

On warmer days and evenings, The Haven’s deck is the ideal location for your gathering. Perched above the Deschutes River, it showcases ethereal sunsets and lighting. Attached is an adjoining indoor room with floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for food and drink setup or expanding your headcount.
