Having grown up on Maui with hippie parents, organic gardens, and the ocean at her fingertips, Rose is passionate about all things growing and flowing. Rose went to culinary school at 18 years old and spent many years living in some of the biggest culinary cities in the world and working for some of the worlds top chefs. Her experience includes working in Los Angeles with Wolfgang Puck, Nancy Silverton, and David Wynn as well as in esteemed restaurants in Paris, Milan, and Bavaria. Most notable, Rose had the opportunity to work in the #1 restaurant in the world, Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy. During her career as a chef, Rose had many roles such as executive pastry chef, owner of a catering company, culinary director of a cooking school and startup founder. Rose also got her Master Gardener certification in 2011 so she could grow the produce she loves to eat!
During Rose's career, she stood out as an excellent organizer, project manager, and manifestor. These skills allowed her to launch a SAAS startup in 2018 that teaches people how to cook online through a series of professionally shot cooking videos. The three years it took to launch her startup proved to Rose that she could be an asset to any organization she engaged. When the opportunity to be part of the team that launched The Haven presented itself, Rose knew she had found her next job. Rose has committed to only work for companies that she can fully support their mission. The mission of The Haven is fully aligned with Rose's purpose in life, to leave the world better than she found it.
Rose loves the water, especially warm water, gardening, reading and traveling, but most of all, laughter. And her 8-year-old son, Aidan.
