First impressions are crucial when joining a new workspace. Whether you are coming for a tour, a day pass, or just starting your new membership, our community desk staff is eager to help. While it would be impossible to list all of our coworking perks, these are just a few ways The Haven’s community desk staff can assist you.
Events and Happy Hours
We love a good party! Our front desk staff helps plan, promote, set up, and clean up for all of the events. This includes our monthly members-only happy hours. Facilitating amazing events and helping our guests and members is a memorable experience, and one of our favorite job perks.
The Haven has hosted everything from private events, fundraisers, corporate retreats, team meetings, and more. We have a state-of-the-art space with plenty of amenities for an event or celebration. One of our most popular spaces to host an event is our expansive deck overlooking the Deschutes River.
Additionally, we have several indoor spaces that we can customize to accommodate your event. Our front desk staff welcomes questions about how we can help with your event from start to finish. This includes fully-staffed events, catering and cocktail partners, and setup/clean-up.
Community Connection
We all know that coming into a new space can be overwhelming — even intimidating. Changes can be scary, which means it may feel challenging to make connections as the “new kid.” Luckily, facilitating connections and relationships between members is part of our mission.
Whether it’s to build community or create networks for those seeking talent and skills, the front desk staff can help connect you to the right person. If you are new to town, need a website designer, or are simply in need of a lunch spot recommendation, the front desk can help.
Onboarding
You already made the exciting decision of becoming a member, which means the next step is to onboard with our staff. Onboarding allows us to connect you to member WiFi, access your member portal, and demonstrate how to use our app. We’ll also educate you on how to create meeting room bookings and reserve phone booths, café booths, and ideation labs. Finally, we’ll answer your questions about your new membership.
Printing
One of the perks of becoming a member is the use of the printer, scanner, and copier. The Haven uses an app to facilitate your printing needs. We help set up your printer portal, allowing you to print from your device with ease.
If you hit any roadblocks, we are happy to print out your documents from the front desk computer — just email us your documents! Be sure to let us know if the information is sensitive; discretion is part of our job.
Alcohol Pours
Did you know that beer, wine, and cider are included at all levels of membership? Yes, even day pass users! Whether you prefer a lunchtime cider, a happy hour glass of Pinot Noir, or a post-workday local brew, we support your desire to celebrate. Simply ask one of our team members, all of whom are OLCC certified, to pour you a glass of wine, beer, or hard seltzer.
Additionally, members are welcome to pour their own CBD sparkling water, Nitro cold brew, and kombucha. No more shuffling between coffee shops — we serve local Bellatazza drip coffee all day. Proudly, we serve only local taps from fellow Central Oregon businesses to support small business. Another “win” for flexible working!
Please, don’t hesitate to reach out to our community desk staff. We are here to help you out Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm at The Haven.
