5 Local Products You’ll Find at The Haven

In Central Oregon, supporting small local businesses is one of our missions. Bend, Oregon is full of business and community collaborations that go past Small Business Saturday. One way we support these businesses year-round is by using Bend, Oregon vendors as often as possible.

Shopping at local businesses:

  • keeps more money in the local community,
  • has a smaller environmental impact, and
  • creates more local jobs when compared to shopping from national chains.

As a member of The Haven, you’re supporting more than just our family-owned business, you’re supporting these locally-owned establishments and vendors, too.

Bellatazza Coffee

When you walk into The Haven, the first place you’ll likely visit is the Café for a cup of coffee. There, you’ll find two roasts of freshly-brewed coffee from Bellatazza. In addition to having a coffee shop in downtown Bend, Bellatazza has been roasting coffee beans in Bend since 2003. The coffee company is intentional about buying their milk, chai, chocolate, and baked goods exclusively from other Bend companies. It’s proof that by shopping locally, more money stays within the community.

Picky Bars

Do you need a quick, healthy breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up? Head to the Café for a Picky Bar or Picky Bars oatmeal. Created in a Bend home kitchen by professional athletes, Picky Bars started out with a “real food energy bar.” They’re yummy enough for everyday snacking, but have the nutrition to support workouts and recovery aid. The active lifestyle brand now includes performance oatmeals, granola, pancake mix, and an almond-based drizzle. Everything is free from gluten, dairy, soy, and GMOs!

Drinks On Tap

When you’re ready for your afternoon beverage, you’ll find locally-produced drinks on the 10 taps in the Café. Beers, ciders, kombucha, CBD water, and cold-brew coffees are rotated regularly. Featured beverages come from Riff, Humm Kombucha, Compassion Kombucha, Ablis CBD, Bendistillery, Deschutes Brewery, GoodLife Brewing, and AVID Cider Co. Cheers to sipping local.

Stand on Liquid

With the Deschutes River only steps away from The Haven, access to four paddleboards is a favorite membership perk. When you check out one of the Stand on Liquid inflatable paddleboards, you can paddle down the river knowing you’re supporting a Bend-based company.

Bend Electric Bikes

Another membership perk that connects members to the beautiful outdoors is access to e-bikes. Bend Electric Bikes has provided electric bike sales, tours, and service since 2008. They also offer electric bike repairs, e-bike conversions and cargo bikes for Bendites. Check out one or both e-bikes on the Haven app or member portal.
